If you choose to do business with this business, please let the business know that you contacted BBB for a BBB Business Profile.Īs a matter of policy, BBB does not endorse any product, service or business. BBB Business Profiles are subject to change at any time. ![]() When considering complaint information, please take into account the company's size and volume of transactions, and understand that the nature of complaints and a firm's responses to them are often more important than the number of complaints.īBB Business Profiles generally cover a three-year reporting period. However, BBB does not verify the accuracy of information provided by third parties, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any information in Business Profiles. Piercing or folding a Li-Ion battery will likely lead to catastrophic failures. BBB asks third parties who publish complaints, reviews and/or responses on this website to affirm that the information provided is accurate. Because of the weak excuse that a computer problem precludes them from servicing the product (any reputable company will solve a computer problem in 1-2 weeks) I cannot recommend this company or their products.īBB Business Profiles may not be reproduced for sales or promotional purposes.īBB Business Profiles are provided solely to assist you in exercising your own best judgment. No only am I worried that the battery is dead (and will NOT respond to a police request for the LoJack GPS position), but I am now concerned that this company will fail in it's responsibility to honor the terms of my purchase. If my car is stolen and the battery is dead, then I paid 600 dollars for a paperweight. The Lithium Battery in the unit will fail after 4-5 years. I thought I had paid $ 600+ dollars for a "LIFETIME of protection". I did and was told the EXACT same thing at EACH of my phone calls to LoJack at the end of May, June, July, August, September, October and now on November 17th. ![]() I was told call back at the "End of the month". I started calling the customer service center ( 1-8xx-456-5225 ) in April of this year (2020) and was told that "Our computer system is down and we cannot schedule service calls". ![]() I was told the battery would need to be tested and the system validated within, say 4-5 years. I bought a LoJack for my new Audi in 2015. I honestly thought I was buying a quality product from a reputable company.
