And while I agree that the reason Umineko can’t be adapted is because of all the dialogue, I think that to restructure Umineko to make it less ‘convoluted’ would be totally missing the point. Now, you might think that’s because there’s too much talking- which is the opposite of intelligence. Well, honestly, I can’t blame them! Umineko is just too smart to adapt! I only got through it because I thought the ED added enough camp for levity, and I had already read the manga through to completion.
